HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT So happy to announce that my first solo exhibition, “Organism” will be opening this Friday, January 10. Reception on January 27th – 6:30-7:30PM

The Patchogue Arts Council proudly presents “ORGANISMS,” a solo exhibition by artist Angeli Zankel, running January 10 through April 11, 2025, at the PAC Satellite Gallery at Endless Beauty Suites.

Drawing from her personal experiences and fascination with science, Zankel transforms the clinical nature of medical imaging into compelling abstract compositions. The Lima, Peru-born artist, daughter of an accomplished painter and advertising art director, brings her extensive background in advertising and marketing to her fine art practice.

A graduate of New York Institute of Technology’s Fine Arts program, Zankel’s work challenges viewers to find beauty in unexpected places – specifically, in the diagnostic images that often trigger anxiety and uncertainty. Through her artistic interpretation, X-rays, MRIs, and sonograms become vehicles for exploring both human vulnerability and resilience.

The opening reception will be held on January 27, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Patchogue Arts Council Satellite Gallery, located at Endless Beauty Suites, 20 Oak Street, Patchogue. The gallery entrance is on Main Street between T-Mobile and Standard Rec. Visitors can access the gallery Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM, using the call box (dial 100) at the Main Street entrance.
